brothers and sisters. Certificates of birth, marriage and death are helpful and family bibles may contain important

Monroe Cook, Is said to have been the wealthiest
of the nine brothers. He was an entrepreneur who owned several more acres than his brothers and also ran a grits and
syrup mill.

Mary Jane Paul May
06, 1888 - February 15, 1982
Mary Jane Paul, 93, died Monday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital February 15, 1982. She was born
May 6, 1888, at Eutaw, Alabama, dauthter of Monroe and Betty Plump Cook.
She married Percy Paul in 1905 in Alabama. He died in August, 1972.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Leona Smith and Mrs. Sarah Ramsey,
both of Indiana., Mrs. Arlene Tillman, Mrs. Charlotte Frost and Mrs. Louise
Miller five sons, Percy Paul Jr. of, Miss., James Paul of Ind.,
Milton Paul of Ind., and John Harris and Frank Harris, both of Ill.;
a brother, Charles Cook of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and 34 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren,
a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
